Activity Reports allow Admins to view, analyze and export data about their organization, members and connections.
Output: Begin by choosing whether you would like to view the data within Gainfully (Analyze) or visualize the data in raw format (Export).
Note that even if you choose Analyze, you can still choose to export the data after running the query. All exports will be as a JSON file or CSV.
Product: Next, select the Product you would like to view activity for. Note that each product includes a different set of Events that you can query for. If you are unsure of which Product to choose, consult the chart below or click into each separate Product to view the correlated Events.

Event: After selecting a Product, choose the Event you want to query for. You can query for one Event at a time. Consult the chart above for available Events.
Analysis Type: After choosing an Event, select either Date histogram or Terms.
Date histogram will show the count of a given Event over the determined time period and interval.
For example, the below query will show the count of cards created (Event) per month over the last 90 days (Period).
Selecting the Unique count option will exclude duplicate events. Certain events will include unique attributes.
For example, for the card shares Event, if you select Unique count you can determine whether to query for the unique count of cards shared by users, or by card.
Analysis Type cont'd: Selecting Terms will show the count of a given Event over the determined time period, as well additional attributes.
For example, the below query will show the count of cards created (Event) over the last 90 days (Period), as well as the card information. Note that card has been selected from the Attribute drop-down menu.
Filters: Note that by including certain Events in your query, there may be Filters available. Filters allow you to make your query more specific. Multiple filters can be selected.
The query below for card shares (Event) includes a Filter for channel. Not every Event will have Filters.
Attributes: Attributes apply only when you have chosen Terms as the Analysis Type. You can think of Attributes as an expanded menu of details to include in your query.
For example, in the query below the Attributes menu will show user details because user has been chosen under Terms.
Period: Period allows you to determine what period of time to cover in your query.
Choosing Date histogram for Analysis Type allows you to select both the overall time period to include as well as the interval, as shown below.
The overall time period can be last 7 days, last 30 days, last 90 days or a custom time range.
The interval can be daily, weekly or monthly.
Choosing Terms for Analysis Type allows you to select both the overall time period but not the interval.
Sample Query:
Daily number of shared cards in the last 30 days

Analysis type | Date histogram |
